Dublin + Pierside + Mandy = Love

Graag zou ik 2 van mijne favoriete patronen van New Horizons Designs met jullie willen delen, namelijk de Dublin dolman en de Pierside pencil skirt.

De Dublin dolman is het perfecte t-shirt voor elke gelegenheid, er zijn zoveel opties in het patroon inbegrepen!  Het enige wat ik eigenlijk miste was een jurk versie.

Ik besloot daarom om de dolman te combineren met een ander super patroontje, 

de Pierside pencil skirt.

Ik ben zo blij met het resultaat!  Kijken jullie mee? 

I would like to share 2 of my favorite patterns from New Horizons Designs with you, the Dublin dolman and the Pierside pencil skirt.
The Dublin dolman is the perfect t-shirt for any occasion, so many options are included in the pattern! The only thing I actually missed was a dress version.
So I decided to combine the dolman with another super pattern,
the Pierside pencil skirt.

De prachtige stof voor dit project kreeg ik toegestuurd van De Stoffengalerij.  Het is een kwalitatieve en stevige tricot van Swafing, Mandy genaamd. 

 Het stofje heeft een prachtige grote print die ook niet te groot is.

De kleuren zijn zeer zacht en dus ideaal voor een zomeroutfit, zowel voor dames- als voor meisjeskleding.

I received the beautiful fabric for this project from De Stoffengalerij.  It's a qualitative and sturdy jersey from Swafing, called Mandy.
  The fabric has a beautiful large print that is also not too big.
The colors are very soft and therefore ideal for a summer outfit, both for ladies and girls clothing.

Volgens mij zijn deze stof en de patroontjes voor elkaar gemaakt.

Ik ben in ieder geval al enorm blij met het resultaat!

Deze outfit gaat niet vaak in de kast hangen 😉. 

I think this fabric and the patterns are made for each other.
In any case, I am already very happy with the result!
This outfit will not often hang in the closet 😉.

Een jurk die zijn naam alle eer aandoet!

Ik zag nog geen enkel patroon met zo'n mooie neklijn.   

Pattern Emporium kwam uit met een prachtig basispatroon en een add-on patroon om een watervalhals op je rug te creëren: de Entice me dress.

I never saw a single pattern with such a beautiful back neckline.  

Pattern Emporium came out with a beautiful basic pattern and an add-on pattern to create a waterfall neckline on your back: the Entice me dress.

 

Ik gebruik wel de term basispatroon, maar de Entice me dress is eigenlijk allerminst een basisjurk.  Er zijn echt veel opties in het patroon inbegrepen.

I do use the term basic pattern, but the Entice me dress is actually not a basic dress. There are really many options included in the pattern.

Wat betreft de mouwen heb je de keuze tussen: 

-  2 mouwloze opties: de nauwere (zoals de mijne) of de bredere

- aanpassende mouwen in 3 lengtes

- een kapmouwtje

- een vlindermouwtje

As for the sleeves, you can choose between:
- 2 sleeveless options: cut-away (like mine) or wide set
- slimline sleeves in 3 lengths
- a cap sleeve
- a flared sleeve

Ook de neklijn heeft veel variaties:

- crew nek

- voorkant: midi, hoge en lage ronde hals

- rugpand: midi, hoge en lage ronde hals

- verwijderbare cirkelnek

Het add-on pack geeft je ook een prachtige watervalhals op de rug die je kan combineren

 Ik maakte de nieuwe Chemainus top van Itch to Stitch, en ik moet zeggen, ik ben er weg van.  Oorspronkelijk twijfelde ik een beetje of ik wel stond met dit model, meestal kies ik voor meer aansluitende kleding, maar het is weer eens iets anders.

 I made the new Chemainus top from Itch to Stitch, and I have to say, I love it. 

Originally I was a bit unsure whether I stood with this model, usually I choose more fitting clothes, but it is something else again.

Het prachtige Okergele stofje is afkomstig van De Stoffengalerij.

 Het is een streelzacht stofje waarvan ik ook al eens de groene variant verwerkte.  Het is spijtig genoeg al uitverkocht maar er zijn wel nog veel goede alternatieven in de webshop verkrijgbaar.  

Kies zeker voor een lichtgewicht geweven stofje zoals het stofje van deze week
