Pattern Emporium bracht niet 1, maar 2 nieuwe patronen uit!

The Keep it simple babe and the Hello gorgeous are both a hit.

Ik maakte de Keep it simple babe en koos voor de lage "square-nekline", de 3/4 mouwen 

en de lange lengte.  Het patroon biedt enorm veel opties.

I made the Keep it simple babe and chose the low "square-neckline", the 3/4 sleeves
and the long length. The pattern offers an enormous number of options.

Zo heb je maar liefst keuze tussen 8 halslijnen:

 So you have a choice between 8 necklines:

• High Squared Neck
• Low Squared Neck
• Crew Neck
• High Rounded
• Low Rounded
• Boat Neck
• V-Neck
• Turtle Neck

En 6 verschillende mouwen:

 And 6 different sleeves:

• Cap Sleeve
• Short Sleeve
• 1/2 Sleeve (above elbow)
• 3/4 Sleeve (below elbow)
• Long Sleeve
• Cuffed Long Sleeve

The Adele knit boatneck top

Het nieuwe patroon van Sinclair Patterns, The Adele knit boatneck top, is een schot in de roos.   

Het is een top geschikt voor elk seizoen.  Het patroon heeft een bootnek met kleine inzetstukjes,
die je, net als ik, in een contratstofje kan maken.

 The new pattern from Sinclair Patterns, The Adele knit boatneck top, is a hit.  It is a top perfect for all seasons.  It has a boat neck with small inserts, which you can make in a contrast fabric like I did.

Het patroon heeft heel wat opties.  Zo kan je de top maken met een rechte zoom op heuplengte, of je kan, zoals ik, kiezen voor een asymmetrische contrastboord met zijsplitjes.

De mouwen bieden ook de nodige variatie van korte, elleboog, 3/4 tot lange mouwen.

The pattern has a lot of options. You can make the top with a straight seam on hip length, or you can, like me, opt for an asymmetrical peplum with side vents.
The sleeves also offer variation, from short, elbow, 3/4 to long sleeves.

 Aan de mouw kan je een mooie geknoopte boord bevestigen.  Iets wat ik natuurlijk moest uittesten.

You can attach a nice knotted band to the elbow sleeve. Something I had to test.

 

De Adele knit boatneck top is een prachtig patroon dat bovendien ook nog eens snel in elkaar zit!  Een echte aanrader, zowel voor de beginnende als voor de meer gevorderde naaister.

Highly recommended, both for the novice and the more advanced seamstress.
