De Comfy Town Blog Tour van Rebecca Page draait volledig rond comfortabele kleding.  Ik dacht daarbij meteen aan de Meghan Wrap Dress, een super mooie wikkeljurk.  Kan het nog comfortabeler?

The Comfy Town Blog Tour by Rebecca Page is all about comfortable clothing. I immediately thought of the Meghan Wrap Dress.  A wrap dress, can it be more comfortable?

De Meghan Wrap Dress kan gemaakt worden in drie verschillende lengten. Ik koos voor de rechte versie tot aan de knie maar je kan ook voor een langere A-lijn kiezen of zelfs voor een maxidress.

Het kruisende lijfje heeft een geïntegreerd striklint aan de tailleband. 

Het is een jurk die echt elk lichaamstype past!

The Meghan Wrap Dress is a gorgeous ladies wrap dress pattern which can be made in three different lengths.  I chose the straight skirt that just hits the knee, but there's also a longer A-line skirt and even a maxidress.

The bodice crosses over and is done up with an integrated tie at the waist. It’s a beautiful dress that suits all ages and all body types!

Het enige wat ik aanpaste was de kraag.  De originele jurk heeft een klein opstaand kraagje, deze vormde ik om tot een hemdskraag.  De bodem die aan de jurk aansluit heb ik behouden, maar ik maakte het patroondeel van de kraag 8 cm hoog en het bovengedeelte 40 cm breed.

Ik ben erg tevreden over deze aanpassing 💖.

The only thing I adjusted was the collar. The original dress has a small upright collar, which I transformed into a shirt collar. I have kept the bottom that fits the dress, but I made the pattern part of the collar 8 cm high and the upper part 40 cm wide.
I am very satisfied with this change 💖.

Dag 1 draait volledig rond pyjama's.

Wil het toeval nu dat Kobe, mijn pluszoon, al een lange tijd vraagt om voor hem een pyjamabroek met zakken te naaien.  Ik had al toegestemd maar het project werd al snel op de lange baan geschoven.  De blog tour van Winter Wear Designs kwam dus als geroepen ...

Day 1 runs completely around pajamas.
Now it is a coincidence that Kobe, my plus son, asked me to sew a pair of pajama pants with pockets. I had already agreed, but the project was soon pushed on the back burner.  

The blog tour of Winter Wear Designs came on the perfect time ...

Aviator Pants

Perfect Panel Tee

Ik koos voor twee leuke patroontjes uit het jongensgamma:

de Perfect Panel Tee en de Aviator Pants. 

 I chose two cool patterns from the boys' range:

the Perfect Panel Tee and the Aviator Pants.

Het stofje werd een cool Disney paneeltje met bijpassende stofjes van Droomstoffen: 

een "match made in heaven".

 De unisex Perfect Panel Tee is speciaal ontworpen om te werken met paneeltjes 

van allerlei afmetingen.  Zalig toch! 

Je hoeft niet meer te passen en te meten om daarna je patroon te gaan verknippen 

zodat het paneeltje ideaal uitkomt.  Het patroontje voorziet zelf al allerlei mogelijkheden!

Verder kan je nog kiezen voor een aanpassende of een normale pasvorm.  Voor meisjes kan je ook opteren voor een A-lijn t-shirt.

 Er zijn 4 verschillende mouwen mogelijk: een korte -, een 3/4 - of een lange mouw en een geknoopte korte mouw (voor meisjes).

The unisex Perfect Panel Tee is specially designed to work with panels of all sizes.  

How good is that!
You no longer have to fit and measure and then start cutting up your pattern
so that the panel comes out on an ideal way.  The front piece offers various cutting options.
When you sew this pattern you can choose a slim or a normal fit. For girls you can also opt for an A-line t-shirt.
There are 4 different sleeves possible: a short -, a 3/4 - or a long sleeve and a knotted short sleeve (for girls).

De Aviator Pants is een broek zonder knoop of rits, maar met een rekbare yoga band met elastiek. Super comfortabel en makkelijk om aan en uit te doen.
Omdat het hier gaat om een pyjama broek liet ik de opties van de paspelzakken en de zijzakken weg.  De steekzakken vooraan heb ik natuurlijk (op speciaal verzoek 😉) behouden.


The Aviator Pants are pants without a button or zipper, but with a stretchy yoga band with elastic. Super comfortable and easy to take on and off.
Because this is a pair of pajamas, I left the options of the welt pockets and the side pockets. Of course, I kept the pockets at the front (on special request 😉).

Ik denk dat Kobe tevreden is met zijn nieuwe pyjama, ik alvast wel!

I think Kobe is happy with his new pajamas, I already am!

De Medellin top is een (valse) wikkeltop, geschikt om te maken in rekbare stoffen.   

Het is het perfecte "laagjeskledingstuk".   

Het mooiste aan de Medellin vind ik de overlappende fronten, ze creëren een erg flatterende V-hals die bovendien mooi blijft aansluiten als je voorover buigt. 

Je kan de Medellin maken in sweater stof, zodat je een gezellige trui rijker bent, of je kan hem maken in tricot waardoor je een leuke top krijgt. De Medellin is prachtig met elke rekbare stof!

The Medellin top is a faux wrap knit top that is perfect for layering. 

The overlapping fronts create a V neck that is flattering for many body types.   

You can make a cozy sweater with sweater knit fabric or a casual knit top with jersey fabric, the Medellin Top is great with every knit fabric!

De Cartagena cami is perfect om onder je Medellin-top te dragen. Het is een aansluitende top die fungeert als een comfortabele tweede huid.
De Cartagena is ontworpen voor erg rekbare stoffen (de mijne had 60% stretch). Het heeft een ronde hals aan de voorkant en een diepe ronde hals aan de achterkant.  

De binding en de bandjes zijn gemaakt van elastische bias. Het was de eerste keer dat ik dit materiaal  gebruikte, en het was een droom om mee te naaien. Zo makkelijk!

 

The Cartagena cami is perfect to wear under your Medellin top.  It is very fitted, acting as a comfortable second skin that you barely notice its existence. 

The Cartagena is designed for stretchy knit fabrics.  It has a round neckline and a deep round back neckline.  The binding and straps are made from Fold-over elastic.   It was the first time I used FOE, and it was a dream to sew with.  So easy!
