The Plitvice Top from Itch To Stitch

Elegant, comfortabel en afslankend, dat zijn allemaal eigenschappen van het nieuwe patroon van Itch to Stitch: de Plitvice top. 

Elegant, comfortable and slimming, these are all characteristics of the new pattern from Itch to Stitch: the Plitvice top. 

 De Plitvice top heeft een elegante watervalhals die gerimpeld is ter hoogte van de buste. Deze rimpels laten je taille mooi uitkomen en laat ons zeggen dat dit ook de oneffenheden ter hoogte van je buik mooi verdoezelt 😉.

 The Plitvice top has an elegant cowl front with gathered bust shaping.  These gathers shape your waist and let us say that this also nicely hides the unevenness at the level of your belly 😉.

Ik ben bovendien een echte fan van kapmouwtjes.  En als ze aangeknipt zijn, zoals bij deze top, is het al helemaal makkelijk.  De mouwtjes en de top zelf worden afgewerkt met een boordje.

I am also a real fan of cap sleeves. And if they are cut on, as with this top, it is a real plus! The sleeves and the top itself are finished with a band.

 

De stofkeuze is belangrijk bij dit patroon.  Je krijgt het mooiste resultaat met een soepele stof die zowel horizontale als verticale stretch heeft.  Enkel horizontale stretch kan natuurlijk ook, maar dan zal je watervalhals minder doorhangen.

The fabric choice is important in this pattern. You get the best result with a knit that has both horizontal and vertical stretch. You can also use one with only horizontal stretch, but then you create a higher neckline.

Dat ik fan ben van de Plitvice top kan je wel zien, want ik maakte ineens nog een tweede exemplaar.  Deze combineerde ik met de Danube Jeans rok.  

Het zwarte exemplaar combineerde ik met mijn eerste zelfgemaakte broek, De North point trousers.

You can see that I am a fan of the Plitvice top, because I also made a second, blue one. I combined this top with the Danube Jean skirt .   

I combined the black one with my first me-made trousers, The  North point trousers.
