Ik mocht de leuke, nieuwe zomertop van Itch to Stitch testen. De Kauai top is een soepelvallende top ontworpen voor iets dunnere, niet rekbare, stoffen. Doordat de Kauai helemaal niet aansluitend zit, is ze zeer geschikt voor de (hopelijk snel) aankomende warme zomerse dagen.
I had the honor to test the beautiful, new summer top from Itch to Stitch. The Kauai top is a flowy top designed for lightweight woven fabric. Because of the relaxed silhouette, the Kauai topis very suitable to wear on warm summer days.
Vooraan zorgt de "bib" met knopen een leuk detail. Je kan verder kiezen om ruches toe te voegen aan de mouwopening of om de top mouwloos te laten. Beide versies worden afgewerkt met bias aan de mouwopening, zodat het resultaat weer vlekkeloos is.
At the front, the button-down bib with provides a nice detail. You can further choose to add ruffles to the armhole or to leave the top
sleeveless. Both versions are finished with bias binding on the inside, so the finish is flawless.
De opties van de Kauai top nog even in een notendop:
- A, B, C, D of DD cup (dus geen aanpassingen meer bij een vollere boezem!)
- Een leuk detail met knopen en lusjes in het voorpand
- Een plooi middenvoor
- Een ronde neklijn afgewerkt met bias
- Een mooie ronde zoomlijn
- Versie A heeft een mouwloze afwerking met bias
- Versie B heeft een afwerking met ruchesen bias aan de mouwopening
