Brown, brown, lots of brown ....

Bruin is meestal niet zo mijn kleur.  

Het is niet dat ik de kleur niet mooi vind, maar ik zal er minder spontaan naar grijpen.

Toen ik echter de prachtige bruine stof van Minerva in de bus kreeg besloot ik dan ook om een bijpassend bruin stofje uit te zoeken voor een t-shirt.  

Brown is usually not my color.
It is not that I do not like the color, but I will not use it as spontaneously.
When I received the beautiful brown fabric from Minerva, I decided to find a matching brown fabric for a t-shirt.

Het patroon voor het T-shirt is het Day to Night patroon van Ellie and Mac.  Ik maakte het met een stofje van de oude Froyd & Dind collectie uit mijn stoffenvoorraad. 

The pattern for the T-shirt is the Day to Night Pattern from Ellie and Mac.  I made it in a fabric from an old collection of Froyd & Dind.

Met de echt prachtige, bruine, licht Stretchende stof van Minerva heb ik een nieuwe Hepburn Pants genaaid. Toen het patroon uitkwam, heb ik al een rode genaaid en ik droeg hem veel.
Het is een hoog getailleerde broek met paspelzakken, een gulp met ritssluiting, zijzakken en een voorgevormde tailleband met vijf riemlussen.
De pasvorm van de broek is echt perfect. De broek zit als gegoten en ik hoefde geen aanpassingen te maken. De stof heeft ook een beetje stretch wat alleen het draagcomfort ten goede komt.

With the really gorgeous, brown Stretch Suiting fabric from Minerva I sewed a new  Hepburn Pants.  When the pattern came out I already sewed a red one and I wore it a lot. 

It is a high waisted pair of pants with back welt pockets, a front fly with zipper, side pockets, and a contoured waistband with five belt loops.

The fit of the pants is really perfect.  The pants sits as cast and I didn’t have to make any adjustments.  The fabric also has a little stretch which only benefits the wearing comfort.

Deze combinatie zal denk ik nog vaak uit de kast komen 💓.

I think I will wear this combination often 💓.
