The Sew Fab Pattern Sale

I am so proud to be part of the Sew Fab summer 2019 blog tour!

 From this bundle with beautiful patterns, I chose to make the Skiff dress from Jennuine Design.

 The Skiff Dress is an expansion of the Skiff Tee.  

The basic shape is a wide boat neckline and an A-line silhouette with straight vented or curved hem. The back hem is slightly longer than the front. 

I used the color blocked style to play with my solid color and my rabbit fabric.

The Skiff dress also includes options for a sleeveless version, a horizontal flounce across the color blocked sections of the bodice and sleeve and an elasticated waistband.

If you want sleeves, like mine, you use the sleeves from the Skiff Tee.

The pattern includes girls’ sizes newborn through 12 years.

Recommended fabrics are knits with 25 – 40% 2-way stretch for. A small amount of fusible interfacing is needed for the optional buttonholes.
